Berka Ensemble blends their extensive repertoire of traditional melodies with the diverse musical influences and instruments that modern urban life brings. The result is a truly unique sound, where Moldavian, Somogy, and Gyimes melodies—or even tunes reminiscent of medieval taverns—come to life, along with poetic works by Csángó authors.
Their innovative work earned them the Fonó Award in 2022 for „Best Táncház of the Last 25 Years” and the Táncház Medal of Honor in 2023.
