The Turkic Youth Orchestra was founded in 2022 on the initiative of János Hóvári, under the leadership of folk musician Tímea Janurik. The members of the ensemble—of Hungarian, Turkish, and Azerbaijani origin—perform the folk music of the Turkic nations. Their songs focus on traditional instruments and original-language performance. This year’s program, titled „On the Path of the Miraculous Deer,” features Hungarian, Turkish, Azerbaijani, Kazakh, and Kyrgyz songs, highlighting their shared roots.
